One of the effective ways to reward customers who have been loyal and always contributed to your business's growth is to provide exclusive discounts and extra benefits to them. Nector lets you segment your customers based on:
- Total Amount Spent on the Website
- Total Number of Orders Made on the Website

You can configure up to 5 Tiers, define the rules to reach each tier and set up exclusive offers that are applicable to each tier.

As seen above, you can name each tier with names that match your brand's needs. The benefits are also listed under each tier to entice customers to move ahead in their shopping journey.
The progress bar gives customers the feeling of completing the given objective to move to the next level.
Progressive Cashback Rewards
Progressive Rewards motivates customers to boost their spending by providing increasingly higher cashback rates at various spending levels.
This approach naturally promotes larger basket sizes, leading to a notable increase in Average Order Value (AOV) for businesses.

Flash Coins
Flash Coins enables businesses to run strategic winback campaigns by crediting temporary reward coins to inactive customers.

Delayed Rewarding

To solve this, Nector lets you delay the rewards as per the status of the order or tags that you create in your Shopify store. You can choose to reward your users during any of these statuses:

Earning Coins display on PDP and the Checkbox on PDP

- Action: Display coin earnings and a checkbox to apply saved coins.

Nector allows you to gather visitor data on your website by presenting a first-time offer. By providing an enticing offer to encourage their initial purchase, you can successfully collect valuable data and maximize its potential for your business.

Point Redemption at Checkout
You can add a slider on the checkout page to give users the best visualization of coin redemption in their shopping journey. Users can use the slider to decide the amount of coins they wish to redeem for the desired discount. This removes the friction of users not utilizing their coins on your website. Coin Expiry
If customers earn coins but never redeem them, they risk losing out on discounts and missing the full value of the loyalty program. To tackle this and bring back dormant customers to your website, you can utilize the coin expiry feature. You can set an expiry date for the coins, so users would have to redeem them within the given time frame to reduce the risk of losing out on the benefit

Control & Customization Features
These updates give brands finer control over how and when loyalty points can be earned, redeemed, and expired:
Product-Specific Redemption Control:
- Brands can now restrict point redemption to specific products or entire collections (defined using Shopify collections).
- Primary Use: To prevent discounts on certain high-margin items or products like gift cards, protecting profitability.
- Note: This feature currently requires the GoKwik checkout integration to function.

Custom Point Expiry:
- Brands gain the ability to set unique, temporary point expiry dates using Shopify order tags.
- Primary Use: To create unique expiry rules for specific campaigns (e.g., "Bonus holiday points expire in 30 days") that override the standard global program setting.
- Note: This custom expiry is currently only applicable to Order Rewards.
New Reward Distribution & Types
This enhances the variety and timing of rewards offered to customers:
New Anniversary / Birthday Rewards with "Instant" Distribution:
- New Reward Type: Brands can now offer Anniversary Rewards (e.g., a reward on the anniversary of a customer's sign-up or first purchase), running parallel to Birthday Rewards.
- New Distribution Logic: The "Instant" distribution option provides the reward immediately the first time a customer enters their relevant date. This is designed to create a positive initial experience and boost engagement.

Referral Embed at Checkout
Customers feel motivated to complete an action when they are on a streak of completing actions on your website. So it’s more likely that users would refer another person to your website when they are satisfied with the purchase they just made on your website. To utilize this key moment, Nector lets you add the referral embed on your checkout page so that users can add their closed ones’ email addresses and refer them to your website.

Thank You Page (Referral & Earn Coins Section):
Encourage customers to refer friends and earn loyalty coins after purchase.
Example Workflow:
- Trigger: Customer lands on the Thank You page after completing an order.
- Action: Display referral link with incentive and points earning info.

Offer a free product as a reward
Even though a monetary discount seems more enticing to offer, a physical product offered as a gift can feel more rewarding to users. Offering a complimentary product that complements other products on your website is a great way to satisfy customers. With Nector, you can let users claim a free product on their purchase by redeeming a small amount of coins. The product would be added automatically to the user’s cart once they redeem.

Membership
With a Paid Membership, customers subscribe for a fixed duration (e.g., ₹299 for 6 months) to unlock exclusive perks. Unlike regular shoppers, members enjoy consistent benefits and earn more through loyalty rewards.
How it Works
- Customers purchase a membership plan for a set time period.
- Membership perks apply automatically to all their orders.

Unlock Member-Only Pricing with the Custom Price Widget
For brands building a loyal community, exclusivity is the secret ingredient. Customers want to feel like they are on the inside, getting something special that others don’t.
That’s exactly what the Custom Price Widget delivers.
Placed seamlessly on both the Product Display Page (PDP) and Product Listing Page (PLP), it automatically shows members their discounted price the moment they land on a product. Non-members, meanwhile, continue to see the regular price.

This simple shift does two powerful things:
- Incentivizes sign-ups by showing non-members the savings they’re missing.
- Strengthens retention by rewarding members with a constant reminder of their benefits.
And the experience doesn’t end at the product page. The discount is carried forward into the cart and checkout, so members never lose sight of the value they are receiving.


Cart Page Widget
The Cart Page Widget highlights the extra savings customers can unlock at checkout using their loyalty points. It encourages customers to redeem points and complete their purchase.
How it Works
- Appears on the cart page for logged-in customers.
- Shows available loyalty points and equivalent discount.
- Motivates customers to use rewards before checking out.

Credit Wallet
The Credit Wallet is a distinct wallet from the loyalty wallet, designed to store credits that customers can use freely. Each credit = ₹1, with no restrictions on usage—customers can redeem the full balance anytime.
Use Cases
- Refund order returns/cancellations into the wallet instead of a bank account (e.g., Beyoung, Bonkers).
- Redeem gift card balances in the wallet for checkout (e.g., Boat).
Integrations
- Gokwik Checkout: Supports redemption of both loyalty points and credits (simultaneously).
- Works with Point Redemption on PDP and Point Redemption at Checkout widgets (currently, merchants can enable either loyalty points or credits at a time).

- Bridges offline to online: A physical product becomes a digital gateway, seamlessly linking purchase moments to loyalty rewards.

Shopify POS Integration
With Shopify POS Integration, customers can use their loyalty points not just online, but also at offline retail stores.
How it Works
- The POS operator checks the customer’s loyalty points balance directly on the Shopify POS device.
- Eligible discounts can be applied instantly at checkout using Nector’s POS widgets.
